The DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE CENTRE (DEC) is implementing a project 'Small-Scale Project Fund for Community Based Organisations (CBOs)' supported by Bread for the World-Germany (BfW). The project supports CBOs focusing on women, Persons with Disability, adolescent girls, and other vulnerable groups to implement self-designed projects. It provides grants and mentorship for institutional development.
How to apply
1. 'Expression of Interest' form can be downloaded from DEC’s website or requested via email. 2. Completed forms can be submitted in hard copy (sealed A4-size envelope addressed to The Local Approval Committee DEC SSPF, submitted at DEC head office, No. 5 Kaduna Road, Bauchi) or soft copy (signed form forwarded as attachments to smallscaleprojects@deccentre.org). The deadline is 4pm (Nigeria), Wednesday 22nd July 2026.
Eligibility requirements
Groups or organizations who have benefited up to two times or have an ongoing partnership with the DEC-SSPF Project or Bread for the World are not eligible to apply. Categories: A (informal groups), B (semi-formal groups), C (formal groups), D (groups requiring institutional development support).
