FEDERAL COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, ISHIAGU, EBONYI STATE: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES

The Federal College of Agriculture Ishiagu, Ivo L.G.A., Ebonyi State as an institution under Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria desires to appoint a new accounting firm as an External Auditor. TENURE:The tenure of the External Auditor shall be one (1) year in the first instance renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance in accordance with Guidelines on the appointment of Auditor for Federal Government Parastatals. The tenure of the external Auditor shall not exceed five (5) continuous years.

CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENT AS EXTERNAL AUDITOR ARE: 1. Brief on the firm 2. Location of head office and branches in Nigeria 3. Name of partners 4. Evidence of License to Practice (LTP) and CAC registration. 5. Key clients and their areas of business, contact persons and their functional phone numbers/emails address. 6. Evidence of audit services in public sector organizations, especially tertiary institutions 7. Summary of strength, qualifications and experience of partners and staff 8. Evidence of litigations against the firm and or foreign affiliates if any, in the past three (3) years
